Beach Streets Long Beach: Uptown

Under a semi gloomy morning, Uptown Long Beach was able to successfully host their own version of a car-free streets civic event. The street was open to all non-motorized vehicles from 9 am to 4 pm with performances, demos, free waters and rentals for the whole family.

The support of the locals was felt throughout the whole route. Local businesses were in full effect showcasing their products and services. "It's nice to see the mix of cultures at events like this," stated an SoCall Native. Uptown Long Beach had a chance to put their best foot forward for all the new faces attending Beach Streets Long Beach.

WestSSUP was able to show off Street SUP as another form of transportation to many of the locals. Children and adults were eager to try out the new WestSSUP Street Paddleboards: The Transporter and Beastmaker.
