Miami Ultraskate 100 mile Training Run
At 9 am on December 22, 2013, the 100-mile journey began for WestSSUP riders Deejay, Jeremiah and Daniel. The 6 mile loop began where Huntington State Beach and Newport Beach meet, then headed north to the famous Huntington Pier. This grueling task began with a slow, methodic pace which was then challenged by a terrifying headwind.
This headwind proved to be the game changer for Daniel and Jeremiah. On the other hand, Deejay powered through and kept on pace to complete the 100 miles in just over 12 hours!
